Pain Management and Anesthesiology
Dr Koorosh Joshua Elihu M.D., D.ABA, is a pain management specialist and board-certified anesthesiologist. His fellowship training at Cedars-Sinai was comprehensive and includes medical management, addiction and sleep medicine, acute pain management, and hospice and cancer care. His procedural expertise includes – but is not limited to – the placement and management of spinal cord stimulator implants, intrathecal pump implants, vertebral kyphoplasties, discograms, sympathetic nerve blocks, advanced peripheral nerve blocks, epidural injections, joint injections, facet joint injections, and radiofrequency ablations.

A Leader in Medicine
Dr Elihu is a founder and the President of SureConsent Inc, a medical technology company that aims to improve patient care by enhancing the surgical consent process. SureConsent products have been utilized in hospitals nationwide, including Harvard University Hospitals, Northwestern University Hospitals and Stanford University.
Dr Elihu is a member of the California Society of Anesthesiologists, where he serves as an elected delegate, and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. He previously served as a delegate in the Wisconsin Medical Society. He maintains medical privileges at Harbor-UCLA Trauma Hospital, an affiliate of UCLA Hospitals. He also volunteers as an interviewer for Harvard University admissions.
Research
Dr Elihu is an internationally published researcher and has conducted research at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute, the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Children’s Hospital Boston, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Harbor-UCLA Trauma Center, among others.
